Information gathered through this website and through consultation forms when booking appointments, allows Sophie to understand any particular needs you may have. Sophie has a legitimate interest to protect clients before, during and after Yoga classes or treatments and this allows her to make any necessary adjustments to meet those needs.

What type of information is collected?

Sophie receives, collects and stores any information you enter on her website or that you provide in any other way. Sophie collects personal identifiable information which includes name, email address, address, telephone number, age and health / medical information which is voluntarily provided, comments, feedback, product reviews and recommendations. If you do not feel comfortable disclosing your personal information, please discuss this with Sophie. If you do not wish to disclose any medical or health information to Sophie, please consult with your GP before attending a Yoga Class or Facial Massage to ensure that you will be able to attend.

How is information collected?

When you conduct a transaction on Sophie's website, as part of the process, Sophie collects personal information that you provide such as your name, email address and telephone number. If you subscribe, your information is emailed directly to Sophie. When booking an appointment, your information is stored on a secure booking system (Acuity Scheduling) and emailed to Sophie. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only, to ensure the safety of the client. In some cases, information is collected via a paper based health questionnaire and is securely stored in a lockable filing cabinet at Sophie's business address.

Why is such personal information collected?

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

To provide relevant support and advice to the clients dependant on their needs.
To ensure the safety of clients during Yoga Classes, 121 Yoga, Face Massage Treatments and other related activities.
To be able to contact Visitors and Clients with general or personalised service-related notices, promotional messages and marketing material for Workshops, Classes and other events run by Sophie.
To be able to post orders to clients, who may have purchased Sophie's art work and which requires shipping to a specific address.
To discuss the clients needs and provide them with updates of an art commission.
To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How does Sophie store, use, share and disclose site visitors' personal information?

Information gathered via the online booking system, acuity scheduling, stores all personal data of the client and copies are emailed directly to Sophie. When booking appointments with Sophie you will be required to enter your personal details via Stripe, a payment system. If you email Sophie, your email address is stored on Outlook. Acuity Scheduling, Stripe and Outlook all have their own Privacy Policies and information relating to data processing.

Sophie does not physically share personal information with any other third parties.

How does Sophie communicate with site visitors?

Sophie may contact you via email, text message, phone call or post, to update you on events, classes, workshops, promotional deals and packages and any other information which Sophie believes the client may be interested in. Clients are asked to confirm whether they wish to receive marketing material and updates and can opt out at any stage.

Your personal contact information.

If you would like to: access, correct, amend or delete any personal information we have about you, you are invited to contact Sophie at Hello@sophiereyyoga.co.uk. Your personal information can be stored for up to 6 years, however if a client has not been in contact with Sophie for at least 2 years, Sophie will delete your data. You can request for your personal data to be deleted at any time.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
