Embody Your Joy; A 10 Week Journey to Cultivate Self-Trust & Creative Expression

In October 2024 I launched a 10 Week Group Somatic Coaching Programme, and had 8 wonderful women join me to try it out for the first time!
After a 12 month break, I'm now excitedly preparing for a second run of the programme, starting in April 2026.
This group journey is aimed at women who want to experience more rest, creativity, joy and self-nourishment; and less perfectionism, doubting yourself or dimming who you are to 'fit in'.
It's for those who have a yearning to embody a felt sense of Joy and creativity, and learn to support themselves through overwhelm, anxiety and low self-esteem.
This could be for you if you feel like you're at a threshold moment in life, mid 30s to 40s, perhaps noticing a shift within yourself that feels unsettling; this could be hormones or the sense of wanting or needing something to change within your life.
Maybe you've felt like your inner spark has dimmed over the years and you're curious to find a new version of your spark, or maybe you struggle to nurture and empower yourself due to old limiting beliefs and conditioning.
Somatic Coaching offers support and guidance in areas in your life that you want to feel more empowered, confident or fulfilled in. During the programme, you will be learning to widen your capacity and orient towards more joyful or creative outlets as a way to invite in more stability. We don't focus on what's wrong, we focus on what's possible.
Most coaching programmes and therapies stay on the mind level - focusing only on; "how do we change your mindset."
Somatic Coaching recognises that your experiences and beliefs live within your body and felt sense, not just your mind, and we need to invite the body into the conversation, and learn its language, in order to create deep change within your nervous system.
Your Nervous System plays a huge role!
Your nervous system is involved in how your life experiences are felt and stored within your body, and this plays a huge role in whether or not you are able to regularly connect with stability, safety, joy, and self-expression or confidence, or whether you are constantly on edge, anxious, fearful or doubting your abilities.
A nourished and healthy nervous system is what helps you to feel resourced and equipped to deal with life's inevitable ups and down. It's not your fault that you feel anxious or overwhelmed, or that you put yourself down, it's most likely a coping mechanism that was formed from an earlier experience in your life.
Most of us don't understand the importance of your nervous system and coping mechanisms, and we think we're broken or stupid or lazy.
By allowing a little space, inviting in compassion and curiosity, we can start to change our belief patterns, feel safe, loosen the strings of our inner protectors and remember there is creativity, vibrancy and life within us, just waiting to be explored and expressed!

The Vision Behind "Embody Your Joy"...
Following the global pandemic, I was feeling lost in my business and in my 'purpose'. I was burnt out, financially struggling and was completely disconnected from my own 'wellbeing' practice, despite continuing to share the importance of this with others.
The Embody your Joy programme was born out of my own experience of working with a Somatic Coach and how this helped me regain confidence and clarity in my goals, whilst remembering what 'Joy' meant for me, the importance of joy and creativity for wellbeing, and not comparing myself to others.
This 10 week offering invites women to explore, sense and feel into this for themselves.
Through explorations, practices, tools, community discussion and education, you will discover the positive effects that stability, rest, creative expression & community support has on your nervous system, and how important your nervous system is in all of this!
You will begin to increase your confidence and self-esteem and connect with your playful, joyful and expressive soul, in a way that feels accessible for you.
Empowerment Through Movement, Nature & Art!
Over the 10 weeks, this programme aims to instil some incredibly supportive practices within you, to help you start to build a deep, unbreakable trust in yourself, through getting to know your fears, doubts and limiting beliefs, alongside the creative, joyful parts of you that might get shut away or ignored.
It's time to feel empowered to make choices that will properly guide you through the chaos of life, help you attune to your body's natural intelligence and unravel the ingrained, outdated beliefs, establishing radical self-compassion along the way. Life isn't always calm, slow or easy, so it's important to stay committed to your daily ritual of building emotional resilience, trust and really nurturing your mind-body connection.
This is how we stay connected to our inner joy!
I believe it's important for adults to make time for joy, play, self-expression, art or any creative activity that resonate with you personally. That grounds you in the present moment, that reminds you that life is more than our jobs and material possessions.
It makes me really sad to think that adults feel they aren't allowed to be silly, or do something just for the fun of it, or even REST because it's considered 'unproductive'.
What if we used our creativity, play and self-expression as part of our personal wellbeing & resilience journey, rather than it being something you dip into every now and then!
Or the the thing you do when you feel pretty good, or have the energy or an hour to do it?
It can become a regular (perhaps daily) practice of deep connection to Self.
This programme is a space to understand your beliefs, and what they're trying to protect you from.
I'd love you to take a moment to pause, and tune into your body - Is there anything to sense or feel, as you read these words? Are there any sensations, thoughts or images coming up, or perhaps any reflections on your own beliefs?
There is no right or wrong here, and don't worry if you struggle to tune into your body. It's completely normal to begin with.
The Programme Experience; Collaboration and Community

My aim is for you to be seen, heard and gently encouraged throughout this programme, without ever feeling forced.
To help you to feel safe enough to try the practices on offer, build your curiosity around them and how they resonate with you, and start to ask 'what is possible here; with where I am, who I am and what I have available to me'.
You will have the choice and opportunity to share your thoughts and experiences, and use this small online community as an additional support network.
The programme itself will provide you with foundational tools for exploring and sensing safety, stability, connection and creativity from within and being curious about where and what your inner Joy stems from. We will explore creative movement, arts, crafts and journaling, and understand how to work with the Wisdom of the Inner Child, alongside other parts that show up to protect us, such as the Inner Critic.
There will be 8 Live Sessions, and 2 Integration Weeks, for Resting and Reflecting. You will receive some additional resources encourage rest!
Alongside the weekly practices, we have a WhatsApp group for easier communication, asking questions and sharing experiences with each other. You can also drop me a message during the week for additional support too.
This is about learning to embrace who you are, focus on your wellbeing and give yourself permission to prioritise what helps you feel nurtured, confident and joyful from the inside out.
